About

Mike is a Malta-based, award-winning director with ten years in cinematography and storytelling. He started making commercials and YouTube videos at 19, and has since moved fully into writing and directing — across both commercial work and film.

His narrative work is rooted in drama, horror and horror-comedy, and he cuts it himself. It has screened on the international genre festival circuit, with a completed horror-comedy short on the slate. He is currently developing his first feature script.

When a student film's prop turns out to be a real binding box, finishing the shoot becomes the least of their problems. When a demon possesses one of the crew, a bloody battle for survival begins, and their deepest, darkest secrets are their only chance of making it out alive.
